Steady progress in Ipswich

Green Party candidates in Ipswich gained almost three times as many votes as last year with 1,824 votes secured across town compared to 666 in 2011. In a number of wards, our candidates took third place behind the two largest parties. Nationally, the Green Party steadily increased its number of elected councillors and increased vote share.
